Helen is so kind and thoughtful and you can see how much she cares about what she does, and making sure that our ceremony perfectly reflected what we wanted for our wedding.

Helen was very organised preparing for our ceremony, and also gave us plenty of time for reflecting and reviewing to make sure our ceremony suited us. She had brilliant ideas about what to include and wrote a ceremony that reflected what we wanted to say to each other, and our families and loved ones.

As for the ceremony itself, she guided us through so confidently and professionally.
She instantly put us at ease.

Wow! What a day that was!!

Our feet are sore but our hearts are full! We had the most incredible wedding day. Even better than we ever could’ve imagined, and the tone was all set by the wonderful service you presented. All of our guests commented on what a fun and upbeat service it was, full of love and a great delivery of our story so far.
Thank you so much for everything you did to make our dream a reality. From the lovely, uplifting emails of encouragement along the way, to helping us create a service that was exactly us! We really can’t thank you enough for everything.
We’re now en-route to our beautiful honeymoon destination and ready to just soak in all of the memories while we unwind!

Our experience with Helen was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. From the moment we met her, her vibrant energy was undeniable. She made so much effort to get to know us personally and our entire love story.

When we received the first draft of our ceremony we were in tears it was so wonderful- she had captured us and our relationship perfectly. We absolutely LOVED it!

The ceremony ended up being one of our absolutely favourite parts of our entire wedding weekend. It was so personal and intimate and Helen really connected with all of our guests too. We had so many compliments about how beautiful everything was. We literally could not recommend Helen more!

They loved the ceremony!

We had been to a few celebrant-led weddings and loved how personal the ceremony was to the couple being wed – however, Helen absolutely exceeded all our expectations in the magic she so kindly delivered!

You can tell the hours of work and thought that Helen spends on your ceremony, including the time spent with you as a couple – finding out interesting tales, stories, and what is important to you both, to so cleverly add into your ceremony.

Helen was incredible at sending drafts of her amazing work so we all knew it was perfect and exactly what we wanted.

My Grandma is a true traditionalist and really struggled with the idea of a ceremony not being in a church …she has now said it is one of the most beautiful ceremonies she has seen!!

Guests were talking all day about how much they loved the ceremony and most importantly, my husband and I loved every second!!

Helen’s energy and enthusiasm is infectious to everyone around her and she is exceptional at her job!

Tying the Knot at Denton Hall

My husband and I cannot write a review that is glowing enough for Helen (The Elegant Celebrant). On Saturday Helen lead the most personal, special and all-round lovely ceremony for us. Our guests said how wonderful it was and commented on how refreshing it was to have a ceremony actually about us as individuals, as a couple and as a family. Working with Helen was brilliant, Helen was always cheerful and a pure delight – as well as being very accommodating (we had a baby in the time between meeting Helen and the ceremony) Helen adapted the ceremony considerably to include Finley with such good grace. On the Day Helen created a ceremony that we (and our guests) just adored and very much felt we were a part of and represented us as a couple. If you are lucky enough to have Helen as part of your day/celebration you will not be disappointed, you will have a ceremony that is bespoke to you and your situation delivered in a way that is friendly, warm and genuine.

Naming Ceremony

 

Helen recently conducted a naming ceremony for our baby daughter. As non-religious parents, we wanted all the sense of ceremony and importance of a more traditional christening, but obviously without the religious messages.

Helen delivered the most wonderful service in our garden on a sunny Saturday afternoon in late July. It was exactly what we were hoping it would be! Helen had met with us and spoken to us several times before the occasion in order to put together an order of service and ‘vibe’ we were happy with. The result was an incredibly personal, thoughtful, happy and beautiful service.

We can’t thank Helen enough for all her hard work in planning the event to welcome our little girl into the world. It was such a special event, and all our friends and family commented on what a wonderful ceremony it was. In the few weeks we have known Helen in the time leading up to the service, her warmth and general loveliness made the whole process of planning very easy and enjoyable. The service itself felt like it was being delivered by one of our own family: that’s how skilled Helen is as a celebrant. We can’t speak highly enough of Helen, and we will be recommending her services to our friends and family for many years to come.
