In your Naming / Welcoming Ceremony, we can write the promises and commitments you choose to make to your baby or child. You may choose to involve other significant members of the family to demonstrate their support and love in their own words through poetry, story, music or dance.
Perhaps you would like to make this ceremony into one in which you welcome an adopted child or step children into your family?
You could do this at your family home where everything is to hand , comfortable and familiar or in any place which has meaning , memories and poignancy for you.
It will be my great pleasure to meet you and your family to hear about the kind of ceremony you are imagining and to create it together.

Creating Your Naming Ceremony
♡ introductory phone call – 1st meeting together
♡ signing and sending of contract and £250 non -refundable deposit to secure The Elegant Celebrant at YOUR service
♡ gathering your story, composing and re-writing your ceremony
♡ 2nd meeting to rehearse your ceremony at your chosen venue
♡ 3rd meeting to present your ceremony plus a keepsake of your unique service

£465.00 (+travel)
2025 Yorkshire Naming/ Welcoming Ceremony costs
£485.00 (+travel)
(a flexible payment plan is available if you would prefer to pay in instalments)
Costs to be agreed prior to the ceremony
♡ travel expenses- the first 10 miles of any return journey are complimentary – additional miles thereafter are charged at 45p
(45 per mile per mile from my home, LS29, to the venue or client)
♡ overnight accommodation, at cost, if required
♡ fancy dress, at cost, if required
♡ miscellaneous costs – as agreed
