Talk about ‘burning through the skies, yeah”….

The new, and totally marvellous, Mr & Mrs Lockwood could well be called “Mr & Mrs Fahrenheit” as their wedding ceremony was utterly SUPERSONIC

We sang, we cheered, we clapped, we laughed, we cried…. All within a 35-minute wedding ceremony and it was incredible!

The roof of this beautiful 200-year-old barn may need checking as the decibel level was stratospheric such was the joy freely expressed by all of Vicky & Matt’s guests.

Huge CONGRATULATIONS and love as you start your new life together with your gorgeous Pickle.

The Lockwood Times – a fantastic limited edition. In fact, a wedding day special was published for family and friends on 2nd September 2023!

Their paper was full of fun facts, photos, a crossword, and was a wonderful way of communicating details about their wedding day.

For example, in lieu of favours, Vicky and Matt let their guests know that they had made a donation to St Michael’s Hospice in memory of Grandad Terry.

What a day this was… Did anyone solve the wedding crossword???

I just love the reactions of the mums of Matt and Vicky as Vicky, with her dad Steve, walks towards Matt.

It’s SUCH an important and beautiful moment… That walk. Those looks. The strength of emotion….. And often the feelings take everyone by surprise.

You can see how quickly I was reaching for my tissues tucked at the back of my ceremony folder to hand to both bride, groom and mums!

The enormity of the occasion and significance of this moment, after all of the planning and anticipation, is ALWAYS a tangible experience and a privilege to behold.

Just lovely……
