Olivia and James – Middleton Lodge – 8th February 2025

CONGRATULATIONS to James and Olivia who had the most wonderful wedding celebration @middletonlodge.

As they live abroad, it was absolutely perfect for the two guitarists @defuegomusic to play Olivia in to “Comptine d’une ete” by Yann Tierson and for us all to sway, sing and clap our happy couple out to “Volare” by The Gypsy Kings ( bet you’re singing it now!)🎼🎤🎸🪇

We all went from laughter to tears and back to laughter and cheers as the emotional “journey” of their ceremony led us.

As James and Olivia kindly said,

” We LOVED our ceremony and, on reflection, we actually agreed that it was our favourite part of the day.”❤

James and Olivia met whilst studying Spanish at Birmingham University – their cute first date was with a picnic in the library whilst collaborating on a shared assignment on the theme of James Bond, written in Spanish, of course!

Shaken, not stirred, they have been inseparable ever since and are celebrating being together for 11 years and now the beginning of a new chapter as husband and wife!

Beautiful 😍

Many heartfelt congratulations to such a lovely couple 🫶

Helen was our celebrant – she was lovely to work with. Helen is  a GREAT communicator, very friendly and she engaged the audience and made us feel at ease. Helen told our story so well.

Thanks Helen x
