We began this heart-warming Adoption Celebration Ceremony @Fulneckgolfclub (thank you to staff member Amy for her warm welcome and enthusiasm ) with the lighting of a candle to remember loved one who could not be with us but who were reflecting their light back to us for guidance and connection.

And what a truly beautiful family welcome this was! Hearts were full to over-flowing with love for this charismatic, charming and cheeky little boy as we welcomed him into his FOREVER FAMILY- this includes mum @emmajane dad @darrenkithching, wonderful big sister E, wonderful big sister

E’s new hamster Night Star and two family doggies, Olive and Basil!

Big sis was a total star herself as she embraced her important status – she insisted on using the microphone to ensure that everyone could hear her own promises for her little brother and she masterminded the sand ceremony, encouraging all 9 contributors to pour their coloured sand into the Forever Family jar in AGE order!

We all ended the ceremony collectively saying the words from the poem

“Lovely Little Boy” – for that Is exactly what he is.

A big thank you to @louisetoni for her fantastic #BritishSignLanguage interpretation of the whole ceremony which she communicated so beautifully.

Then Now Forever

The amazing Helen! What can I say but thank you, thank you, thank you!
Helen made us feel so comfortable sharing our story with her and wrote a wonderful celebration for our wonderful boy allowing us to add everything we wanted to make it own unique celebration.
On the day her calm and confident presence settled our nerves and put everyone at ease.
Helen’s words brought tears, laughter and joy and were absolutely perfect!
