“Oh say you’re mine
For all our days to follow.
As friends we lived before
And we’ll live evermore
Together, two friends in love.”

(extract from “Do Friends fall In Love” by Vilray Blair Bolles)๐Ÿ’

And here are two beautiful friends, in love for evermore!โค

Mr & Mrs Johnson fell head over heels in love at a party thrown by Anton’s brother, Andy. Luisa arrived at the party straight from work and Anton “clocked” this fascinatingly “geeky” lady with her glasses perched half way down her nose.

They chatted together and the hours rolled by un-noticed.

A “few” tipples later and Anton asked for Lu’s number. She happily obliged but inputted , not only the wrong mobile number but she also mis-spelt her name!! (Lu !!!!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚)

The Wedding at Merrydale Manor

I was thankful that I did not have to announce the title of this music as it would have led to many sleepless night for me!

The music is called “Pau Hafa Sloppio Undan unga Myrkursins” by Olafur Arnalds!
( I rest my case!)

Music played a significant part in Lu and Anton’s ceremony.

They both love making playlists of their favourite their Indie and electronic music which were played whilst we enjoyed drinks and canapes but, during the service we were all treated to the beautiful singing by Anna of “High” by Lighthouse Family and accompanied superbly by Lu’s father, Jan, on the grand piano.

Our emotions were further moved by the enchanting performance of Celine Dion’s ” The Power of Love” as Lu and Anton’s signed their wedding certificate.

And how did the ceremony conclude – with the dainty and familiar “Waltz of the Flowers” from “The Nutcracker” by Tchaikovsky.๐ŸŽผ๐ŸŽน

Yes, you can have it all – it’s YOUR day so express your love through your choice of music – it can be as eclectic as you like! No restrictions with a celebrant-led ceremony!๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿ’ƒ

Absolutely, definitely, categorically YES!๐Ÿ‘

Of course you can include your cultural traditions into your wedding ceremony.

How fantastic!

This is so important – it reflects who you are and your heritage and roots.

These symbolic moments can be woven into your ceremony and convey the importance of your ancestry and traditions.

Lu is of Polish descent and wanted to include this important Polish “rite of passage”

Lu’s mum, Liz, presented Lu and Anton with the special plaited hand-made bread (so the couple may never know hunger) and salt ( to remind them of life’s difficulties and supporting each other through them) and finally, a drink of vodka or water – neither know which drink they will get but the one who gets the vodka will “wear the trousers” in the relationship!!

Then the vodka glasses are thrown over their shoulders and smashed to launch the beginning of the party!๐Ÿ’ƒ๐ŸŽผ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐ŸŽผ

And party we did!!!

Testimonial

There are no words to describe how wonderful and special Helen made our wedding ceremony,

She took the time to make it so personal.

it could not have been more perfect.

Everything about Rich and Katie’s wedding last Saturday The Tithe Barn was spectacular.

Storm Darragh was doing its best to disrupt us but, such was the bubble of love around Rich and Katie, that not even the elements could dilute the happiness and joy of their day.

Their love story is one of soul- searching, determination, sacrifice and driven by the sheer strength of the love they have for each other.

All of the above, coupled with fun, light hearted anecdotes made their ceremony a delight and pleasure .
