"It's time to shine in LS29....".πŸŒŸπŸ’«βœ¨πŸ’₯πŸ’«πŸŒŸβœ¨β­β­βœ¨β­ A huge shout out, and thank you, to the wonderful volunteers who run the Ilkley Business Forum and whose launch last night was EPIC !!!! This is the 10 th anniversary of this fabulous event in which all the businesses in LS29 are invited to apply for the 12 different categories available. The applications are reviewed by an independent committee and the winners announced at the ball next March held at the magnificent Craiglands Hotel here in Ilkley! Last year, our very own sparkly and talented celebrant @marktheoccasion provided the entertainment for the evening πŸ™ŒπŸŽ€πŸŽ™οΈ And thanks also go to our non- stop, omnipresent and dedicated local MP, @robbiemooore,who hot- footed it straight from the conference in Manchester to join us all and lend his invaluable encouragement and support. πŸ‘ I feel so lucky and proud to live in such a fabulous town full of kind,creative, inventive, vibrant and committed people. 2026 everybody!!!! 🍾πŸ₯‚πŸŽ†πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸ•› It' 2026 everybody!!!! 🍾πŸ₯‚πŸŽ†πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸ•› It's galloping towards us at an alarming speed ( Christmas cards are already available in some shops πŸ«£πŸ€ΆπŸŽ…πŸ«£???!) So, I am making arrangements with my couples now to meet up for their " Happily Ever After" chat in which we spend about 2 hours together over tea and cake and I collect all of the fabulous details about them as individuals and as a couple, their love story to date 🌹 We then chat about their ideas for their ceremony- music, readings, vows, symbolic elements etc and from that wonderful meeting, I write the first draft of their ceremony and send it to them.πŸ’Œ I always say that they must edit this draft ceremony to reflect EXACTLY what they want and then, between us, we tweak bits until their ceremony is PERFECT πŸ’ŒπŸ«ΆπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ’Œ I like to complete all revisions one month before their wedding date as I know full well how busy that lead - up month can be!
