Here's a little fella whose name means " peaceful Here's a little fella whose name means " peaceful ruler, calm and principled." What a celebration it was last Sunday as we gathered around this beautiful family to lock in our love, support and presence. I loved the tribute to the " Guide- Parents" - each person was named and had a dedication about why they had been chosen for this important, and lifelong, role, listing their invaluable characteristics and strengths. Then there was the baby's engraved watering can with which he will nurture his very own toffee- apple tree. And there was a great cheer for baby's big brother who has high aspirations like, "making his little brother laugh so hard that food comes out of his nose!" Pure Yorkshire Loveliness! I'll drink to that! 🫖 Pure Yorkshire Loveliness! I'll drink to that! 🫖☕ Just a little summary and commentary on this week for The Elegant Celebrant. Working collaboratively with Vicar Tracy as we shared the Celebration of Life service for a wonderful lady who would have been 100 years old last Saturday. Then the joyful Naming Ceremony full of F blowing raspberries throughout and stealing the hearts of everyone present.🩵 The Guide- parents read "Wishes on your Naming Day" - each reading a verse and then everyone writing their wishes for baby F on a tag to pop in the honey pot 🍯! Then I completed the Government consultation document to feed into The Wedding Reform process. Come on all of US... let's move with the times and give couples choice about THEIR wedding day.
