A’s mum kept her reading as a secret which was a gift to them in itself and relatives and friends abroad joined us via the wonders of a live web stream 🫶
Their love story began 10 years ago this month when they met as they said, ‘ it’s safe to say we haven’t rushed into this! “
Both arrived as Freshers at Durham University and we’re in the same college.
By way of introduction , an ” ice breaker” evening was organised – 2 truths and a lie ! No more can be divulged about that game but D had certainly caught A’s eye and he ended up looking after D all evening and, as Cupid would have it, for ever after!

We had Helen as our celebrant for our wedding in October 2024, and she did an absolutely fantastic job!
